AWAY AND BEYOND: NOW MUZIK AND 2FACE TO ROCK PH AND ABUJA

Port Harcourt and Abuja will experience the best of entertainment as NOW MUZIK EVENTS & PROMOTIONS, one of the leading entertainment promotion outfits in the country, storms the cities with Away and Beyond concert.
The concert, which is a joint production with Hypertek, is one of the platforms to promote 2Face’s album.
Efe Omoregbe, MD/CEO, NOW MUZIK EVENTS & PROMOTIONS explained, “Touring is a very important aspect of promoting an album or an artiste. We’ve had the tradition of pushing out works and following with tours.
“2Face’s first two albums with us was backed up with a six-city tour. At NOW MUZIK EVENTS & PROMOTIONS, we follow album launch with extensive tours for a maximum impact on the artiste’s fans."
This is the rationale behind the Away and Beyond tour which is kicking off in Port Harcourt and Abuja on June 8 and 10 respectively after a successful album launch event last month.
The leading promotion outfit has promised that they are committed to promoting the 2Face album under the touring platform in the next couple of months and it is not going to be just Away and Beyond concerts in the cities.
“We have also lined up dates for other events like album release party and club gigs. These events are not limited geographically as we would tour other West African countries, Europe and America.
“This would afford fans to have a healthy, exciting and unforgettable interaction with the Legend, 2Face. Wherever you may be, NOW MUZIK EVENTS & PROMOTIONS will get the Away and Beyond to you,” Efe promised confidently.
The guest performances at the concerts include, but not limited to, Timi Dakolo, J. Martins, D’Beat, Sunny Neji and Faze.
Andre Blaze and Spaceman will host the Port Harcourt show while Abuja would be anchored by Matilda Duncan and Willy Willy
NOW MUZIK EVENTS & PROMOTIONS also afford artistes who are not on the label of the parent company, NOW MUZIK, the opportunity of reaching out effectively rather than wait for rare tour trains in the country.
It would be recalled that in the 90s, they took artistes and their albums to various cities through the popular Rhythm Riot Tours. The tour featured 2Face, Sunny Neji, Eedris Abdulkarim, Obiwon, Nigga Raw, Freestyle, Ruggedman, Niyola, Tony Harmony and P square.

GREAT NATION: UNOFFICIAL NAIJA NATIONAL ANTHEM

So much has been said about the entity and, by extension, the future of Nigeria. many people have proffered solutions to the myriad of challenges facing the country since the 70s.
As we marked 13 years of unbroken democratic rule, we all waited to hear what the governments have in stock for us in the years ahead.
However, Timi Dakolo, had a different idea.
He gave Nigerians an unofficial national anthem that will always be on our conscience as we sing and meditate on it. The emotionally evoking single Great Nation’ from off the premium edition of his ‘Beautiful Noise’ album, is set to rebuild and restore us as a country.
To Timi Dakolo, music is not just for entertainment, it’s so much more. He has resolved to make a mark with his music as he evokes unbelievable emotion with every song.
He is keen on keeping his philosophy of making good music, to set outstanding standards and to see his seemingly ‘’little light’’ shine.

By virtue of the emotion it evokes and strength of the lyrics, Great Nation has been adjudged Nigeria’s 'Unofficial National Anthem',

The lyrics

‘’Here we stand as a people
With one song, with one voice
We’re a nation undivided and poise
We will take a stand and build our land in faith
To defend what is ours”.

“Here we are as a people
With one heart, for one course
We’re determined to rebuild and restore
Where freedom reigns and truth prevails
A land where there’s hope for our sons”.

LOVE SONG VIDEO OUT FROM THE BEAUTIFUL NOISE OF TIMI DAKOLO

Ever since winning the maiden edition of the West African Idols, Timi Dakolo has continued to endear his fans worldwide through the flawless delivery of songs in the entertainment industry.
Barely three months after dropping the thought-provoking and timely single, Great Nation, the focussed, ‘tender-hearted’ and suave Timi comes with another touching and inspiring gift for his fans worldwide.
It is the release of the video of Love Song. Love song is one of the tracks from the highly successful Beautiful Noise album, released in July 2011 with major production input from the talented Cobhams Asuquo, Choc Boyz- Jesse Jagz and Mr. Incredible (M.I).
Love Song is the fifth video dropped by this founding member of the 2003 Purple Love singing group since teaming up with the foremost management and entertainment solutions outfit of Now Muzik.
According to Now Muzik, the video was released into the market a fortnight ago even as it is coming on the heels of Let it Shine’, ‘Heaven Please’, ‘There’s a cry’ and ‘So Beautiful’.
Directed by award winning Clarence Peters, Love Song is already making waves as it is enjoying airplay and followership on the internet.
The reason for this is not far- fetched; the video was produced with quality and excellence in mind. The visual and audio is spectacular and the delivery is superb.
For someone who came into limelight in 2007, Timi’s rapid rise in the music industry is no surprise to people. He strives for excellence by looking beyond the shores of West Africa thus churning out good music with timely lyrics.
This has earned him awards and recognitions within and outside the shores of the country as well as performing at high profile functions.

J.MARTINS SIGNS MGT DEAL WITH NOW MUZIK

FOR a foremost management solution outfit that is interested in breaking new grounds and expanding to new borders, NOW MUZIK is excited at the right kind of challenge present in the management deal it signed with J. Martins.
The deal would see the artiste gaining from the expertise of the experienced crew of NOW MUZIK for the next two years.
According to Efe Omoregbe, the unassuming brain behind NOW MUZIK, “He presents for us the right kind of challenge because we think he is a fantastic recording artiste. The challenges are enormous but we are up to the task.”
Efe revealed that the outfit’s interest in J. Martins is easy to understand as he presents something to a contemporary highlife, what people would call afro beat in the United Kingdom. “He presents a fantastic, fresh but traditional music,” Efe explained.
NOW MUZIK, has a responsibility to create a better business structure around the the J. Martins brand.
“If you are not involved with an artiste at a point where you need to develop them from scratch, your primary duty is to ensure that the business opportunity that they have work a lot better in their favour,” Efe noted.
Although J. Martins’ appeal as an African sensation is very broad after working with the likes of Cabbo Snoop and Fally Pupa, NOW MUZIK is committed to ensuring that he gets better, bigger and stays longer in the music industry.
“Chances are that with NOW MUZIK management label today, J. Martins should present a better investment and performance in terms of scheduling, media relations, professionalism and promptness.

NOW MUZIK BOSS ADVICES ARTISTES
The need for performing artistes to pay more attention to their music while leaving some other aspects, especially management, to experts has again been emphasised by the boss of NOW MUZIK, Efe Omoregbe.
Speaking with Scriptorial in his office recently, press shy Efe noted that when artistes struggle to do everything by themselves, their primary assignment of playing music suffers and they are easily burnt out.
Going philosophical, Efe attributed the easy fall of talents in the last couple of years to the enormous challenges the artistes have to face and he said, “The industry is like that; it chews you up and spits you out at a frightening frequency.”
He revealed that as superstars, artistes worry everyday about being able to retain their fame, maintain relevance, keep their acts interesting enough to maintain a followership in midst of opportunities to get involved in all kind of other stuffs.
“However, when you face your music squarely and leave the management aspect to experts like NOW MUZIK, you would have an easier time and at the end of the day, you would be a better performer on stage and producer in the studio.
