The 2Face Campus tour was exciting and educating - Ifeanyi

Although we encountered some challenges especially in the area of crowd control in all the schools toured, most especially in Uniben since everyone wanted to be a part of the show.

UNIBEN: The show held at the school’s sports complex. The location was suitable for the massive crowd that attended the show, it seemed to me like a gathering of the whole of Benin city as the roads to Uniben were blocked .The crowd outside the venue was overwhelming which made it difficult for 2face and other performing artists to gain access.

At a point, ticket sales came to a halt and the gates were thrown open for the crowd to enter, this idea was to reduce the crowd to give 2face easy passage in.

All the artists on the tour gave captivating performances to the admiration of their young fans, the likes of Seyi Shay, Capital Femi, Harry Song, Vector, Dencia, Solid Star, Dammy Krane, Rock Steady etc rocked the stage to their best ability.

The unadulterated sound by DJ Willie O held everyone spellbound throughout
the event. The height of the fun was when Africa's best himself, 2baba came on stage and gave the students the best show they have ever witnessed. Many danced and sang along as the legend entertained them to their satisfaction. Uniben was successful.

UNIPORT: The Uniport leg, also held at their indoor sports complex, was also a huge success despite the inconvenient weather. The crowd was equally massive and co-operative.

2face delivered his legendary trademark performance after music stars Seyi Shay,Solid Star, Phyno, Rock Steady, Dammy Krane and Vector stimulated the fun-loving Uniport student with highly professional performances.

IMT ENUGU
: Before the show here, 2face Idibia visited IMT which happens to be his alma mater and was honoured by the school rector, he was also given an award for being at the fore front of Nigeria entertainment and accomplishing great heights
through music.

The show held outside the campus, the long distance from the campus and the
heavy rainfall affected the expected crowd but those that attended contributed to the success of the tour and had a wonderful time with 2face and his co-stars.

UNIABUJA: Like the IMT show, the Uniabuja leg held outside the campus, but close to the school. The show was amazing; I personally think it was the best part of the tour. At first it appeared that only few students would attend, but I was proved wrong; about an hour later, people started streaming in and the crowd became uncontrollable but I and my team sorted things out gradually.

Artistes that graced the show included Rock Steady, Dammy Krane, Vector, Solid
Star, Azadus and of course the man who brought everyone together; 2face Idibia himself. Abuja was a successful show indeed.

UNILAG: Unilag campus connect was the last leg of the tour and held in their
indoor sport complex. The show was a huge success despite the heavy rain fall. Although it was highly tasking trying to co-ordinate the students, everything went on smoothly as planned.

MI, Vector, Solid Star, Seyi Shay, Rock Steady, Dammy Krane and Butafly
were among the artistes who entertained the crowd. 2face finally closed the show with a spectacular performance

Big ups to Mr. Efe Omorogbe and the entire Now Muzik crew for the effective plan and coordination throughout the duration of the tour. It was a wonderful
experience working with you all and getting better on the job. Long live the
legend 2baba!

2face preached love, hope, peace and achievement - PKD

My experience on the 2face tour was exciting and educating. I got to see how the show's i've always watched on television and even been on, come to be. It was an amazing spectacle with exhilarating performance by our favourite artists.
In the ancient city of Benin, students flocked in their legions to see the legend 2face. It was a little over whelming for the Now Muzik crew as the turnout was very impressive. So was the crowd at the University of Port Harcourt indoor complex. The late arrival of students at the Enugu campus was due to the change of location but they eventually came en- mass as the show progresses. Abuja and Lagos had similar impressive turn outs.

The sound system at each venue was state of the art and Dj Willie O was on deck at every show to provide the background instrumentals for the artist.
Opening acts such as myself, Jamaima and other local acts from each school started each show with scintillating performances, followed by some of the hottest singers and rappers in the country that are not just colleagues but friends of 2baba himself.

There was Vector tha viper, Dami Krane, Seyi Shay, Rocksteady, Sound Sultan and his Naija Ninjas crew, Phyno and other acts took the stage as a prelude to the entry of Trubaba as I have dubbed him.

It was a successful tour and I know Now Muzik and 2face especially have achieved their purpose, as the 2face brand has been successfully pushed to the younger generation who may have been too distracted by the high supply of music on the internet, but a tour like this will make the 2face message stick and leave the fans with a memory of a legend serenading them preaching love, hope, peace and achievement.

Yes, he has achieved but has not forgotten his roots and the up and coming youths even as he has been able to pass a message to the younger generation amidst entertainment and fan fair. The students will forever remember moments like 2face giving them a privileged catchy phrase, let somebody hold you from an unreleased song, the pictures taken in the Amstel Malta booth, the free drinks and CDs.

I am indeed very grateful to Mr. Efe Omoregbe and Innocent 2ace Idibia for the opportunity I had to be a part of this tour.

Personal experiences from 2face Campus Connect tour

Although the 2face Campus Connect tour has come, it will definitely not go away as it will remain indelible in the memory of everyone who was involved, one way or the other, in a tour that seeks to bring 2face Idibia closer to the students.

Scriptorial Pr will, as a shift from the norm, be giving you experiences of some of the people on the tour. This week, we are featuring PKD, one of the opening acts on the tour.
