NOW MUZIK SET TO UNVEIL 'ELEVATED' BY CRYSTALS AT INDUSTRY NITE

The much awaited album of the teen pop sensations from Now Muzik management outfit, Crystals, is set for launch at the prestigious Industry Nite on February 20 at Get Arena, Lekki, Lagos.

Aptly titled 'Elevated', the 11 track album is the first from the fun band with the ‘crystal effect’ after formation and winning the 2012 edition of the Nigerian Brewerries Plc organized singing competition, Star Quest.

The young exciting band had whet the appetite of good music lovers with the release of two singles from off the album; 'Gbe Sun Mo Mi' and the melodious afro pop 'Ringtone' which had being receiving massive airplay since last year.

Crystals is a Nigerian boy and girl band, consisting of 6 members; rapper (Romeo), two female lead vocalists (Slimberry, Apholyzty), drummer (Emma Blow), keyboardist (Dammy Keys) and bass guitarist (G Base). 

Since signing up with Now Muzik, Crystals have performed at various shows to the admiration of music lovers thus gradually becoming a prominent figure in mainstream popular music and youth culture with an increasing number of fans.

The launch has the support of Star, el Canaral, Beat fm, Trace Urban, Spinlet, My streetz and NM En.core.

Elevated had the input of seasoned and A-list producers. They worked with Samklef, Del B, Shizzy, Harrysong, George Nathaniel, J. Sleek, Spyke, Phat E and the renowned OJB Jezreel. The album also features upcoming female rapper, Butafly.

Showcasing their creativity, the cool band’s television commercial was way off the usual voice over as the lead rapper, Romeo, rapped to the humming of the female vocalists.

Nigeria’s foremost entertainment company, Now Muzik is delighted to release a new single, ‘Ringtone’ by the fun band with the ‘crystal effect’ – Crystals.

Ringtone is a melodious afro pop song co-written and produced by Harrysong. It is the second single after Gbe Sun Mo Mi and is off their forth coming debut album titled ‘Elevated’. Speaking on their new song, the band who has been described by critics as fun, cool and exciting said thus; “We hope everyone has as much fun listening to Ringtone as we did while recording it”.

They signed with the Efe Omorogbe led record label ;Now Muzik Records after being formed and finishing first in the eighth series of the Nigerian singing competition Star Quest in 2012. Becoming a prominent figure in mainstream popular music and youth culture, their first single Gbe sun mo mi (2012), captured the hearts of many media personalities and fans.

They are currently working with A-list producers such as Samklef, Del B, Shizzy and Harry song, George Nathaniel, Phat E, Spike and Del B the renowned OJB Jezreel amongst others on their forthcoming ‘Elevated’ album.

The video, directed by the prolific Clarence Peters will also be premiered in a week’s time. The group is currently rounding up work on their debut album which will be launched in January 2013 under Now Muzik Recordings.

NOW MUZIK SET TO PREMIERE ‘RINGTONE’ BY CRYSTALS BAND

On Monday, 17^th of December 2012, Nigeria’s foremost entertainment company, Now Muzik will premiere the audio of Ringtone, the much anticipated single by Crystals band. 

The single which is of the afro pop genre was produced by Harrysong and the video which will be premiered a week after the release of the audio was shot and directed by award winning Clarence Peters,

Ringtone will be the second single after Gbe Sun Mo Mi by the band since winning the 2012 Star Quest competition. It will be available on radio and television stations across the country and will also be made available for download online.

CRYSTALS BAND DAZZLES AT 'STAR REGIONAL DRAW' IN ENUGU

The energy in the crowd was infectious when the 2012 Star Quest Winners ‘Crystals Band’ went on stage on the 12^th of Oct, at the Enugu of the Star Regional Draw. Although the ‘Gbe Sun Mo Mi’ crooners are relatively new to the entertainment industry, they exhibit a good level of professionalism at every performance and remarkably keep their audience glued to the stage. They no doubt gained more fans by their dazzling performance at Blue Island hotel; the venue of the just concluded event.

The band which is currently signed to one of Nigeria's premiere entertainment solutions company - ‘Now Muzik’, has featured in many high profile events and its members are presently working on a debut album with production contributions from top notch producers. The band was hosted few weeks ago at the popular weekly Industry Night Event and their current single ‘Gbe Sun Mo Mi’ off their forthcoming album has been on the radio waves for about a month now.

The Star Regional Draw will be held in Lagos on Friday, Oct 19, 2012 and surely Crystals band will live up to expectation. Also expect five more follow up performances in P/Harcourt on the 26^th of Oct, Benin - 2^nd of Nov, Abuja - 9^th of Nov, Abeokuta – 16^th of Nov and back to Lagos on the 23^rd of Nov.

NOW MUZIK AND INDUSTRY NIGHT PRESENTS 'CRYSTALS BAND'

 

Now Muzik presents the 2012 Star Quest Winners, Crystals Band at the popular weekly Industry Night Event on the 26th of September 2012 at Oriental hotel, Lekki, Lagos. According to 'Anthony Don T Anifite, of Now Muzik, this is a show case to promote their recent single (Gbe Sun Mo Mi), which was released some few weeks ago amongst other well-put-together songs that will make up their forthcoming album.

 

It promises to be a night of pure undiluted music by Crystals band who have been rehearsing vigorously for the event. Sound Sultan, OJB, Harrysong, Butafly(TBB), EFA, Dammy Crane and Faze among other top notch celebrities will be there to support the band. Industry Night has played host to Now Muzik's Faze and 2face and Timi Dakolo in the past.
