Shortly after a remarkable album
launch event , Nigeria’s boy and girl band, Crystals are back in the news for being
number one for two consecutive weeks on the MTN top ten countdown with their
first ever video, ‘Ringtone’.
The video of the melodious afro
pop song was directed by the prolific Clarence Peters and has been on heavy
rotation on television stations across the country.
Ringtone is the first song on their
ten (10) track ‘Elevated’ album which was released on the 20th of February,
2013, by Now Muzik Records. The album which features upcoming rapper, Butafly, boasts
of production inputs by the veteran, OJB Jezreel among other top producers.
These are indeed exciting times for
the Now Muzik signed band who are busy promoting their album and also getting
prepared to tour with Africa’s best, 2face Idibia on his Campus Connect tour.
