2FACE FEATURES SARKODIE AND CABO SNOOP
Meanwhile 2Face is set to release the remix to his last single “Dance Floor” off of his latest album Away & Beyond. The song has an edge to it as it brings together the fullness of English West Africa and the richness of Portuguese southern Africa on a song.
After his short leave of absence to consummate his young marriage, the Oxfam ambassador jumped into the studio to refresh the new single. This time around though, he figured he could do with some help from his African kinsmen. Featured on the Dance Floor remix are Angolan whiz kid Cabo Snoop and Ghanaian international sensation, Sarkodie.
This is the first of a series of remixes from Above & Beyond that will be put out by 2Face’s record label Hypertek in the year 2013.
Dance Floor, together with its remix, was produced by Femi ‘Femdouble’ Ojetunde and Olubunmi ‘G$ol’ Afolabi. DJ Willie O also shares production credit on the remix.
